So from now I am going to start the discussion on blogger. why, how and for whom we use blogger. Blogger is an excellent tool that will help you get you blog up and running for excellently free and with out you ever having to learn any HTML or CSS so those crazy web related languages. What really interesting about blogger you don’t have any special software or any web browser it’s a web based service and what’s important to remember is that web based service is do change so if there are some differences by the time you look at blogger you will notice that the interface might be as different time to time. In this post you are going to learn the history of one of the most popular blogging tool named as Blogger. Blogger is a free service from Google that helps to build a personal webpage with out having not much knowledge about web technology beyond using your favorite web browser. I am using Fire fox and you can use any number of popular browsers. Blogger is an easy use website where you can quickly post, interact with people and much more. Many people might know what a blog is? May be you are familiar with the term but mostly get it as a personal diary and it’s certainly can be that but there are variety of blogs. I want to say a few words about the history of blogs just to give you some context many people might remember that in the early days of the web such a thing is a personal home page and on such personal home page people write about themselves and of course that a whole picture of your cat Murphy but in order to do all that you have to know a lot about the web, HTML, various servers and ftp clients and things like that. So there is a certain level of challenge involved but overtime web technology became more sophisticated a new ways for people to easily publish to the web with out having be web designers came about then it is the birth of web logging. The term blog incidentally was come by name Peterme Merholz.

 Peter was a web designer from San Francisco and he merged the two words web and log in to blog. So we have a web and here blog, log means the diary and he put those together to have web log which is one popular referred to it or blog which is where the blogger name came from web log or a blog can be a personal site but can also have other uses. Now let’s take a look for a group blog that I am involved that these are the web standard project blog and its basically be called the buzz blog.

You can see a lot of group blogs where a bunch of people who have an organized idea get together to create a blog where each day a week some body is putting related to that particular interest in the case of this site the interest happens to be web standards so as you can see articles from different people are provided all about web technologies and the web standards so along with a personal blog there is also use that are most group oriented and these can be used by organizations to publish news items many organizations use blog in this way could be non profit organizations and you know political campaigns we have seen another interesting aspect of blogging is business blogging business blogging has been really help full to people because its bringing a professionalism of web logs as well as being able to offer a businesses a way to better promote their products let give you an example of this is the www.clip-n-seal.com website which keeps the weblog about news related to the products and other issues that the business creating this product are very involved in so you see there weekly posts there with fresh news about product and again as I said the things that are interested in and this is been very helpful by putting the product in to the commercial space where lots of potential customers who have never seen in the past actually give this a chance to learn about it and decide whether they want actually be involved of it so automatically whether we are doing our personal blog or a group blog and a blog for business a tool such as blogger is really really going to help you in your life.
